Summer Shorts Season Four
Our summer shorts video series has come to a close. The summer is a great time to focus on family and self-care activities to help you recharge while we work, too. Therefore, here are the videos posted this past summer as you shift into a new season! Some great videos are lined up this September, and a Blog will follow in October.
Topics I covered in our Summer Shorts Videos
- Writing ALT text for your videos as a shortcut option, but ensure you add capitals. Did you know that adding too many commas hinders screen readers? If you are interested in learning more, let me know!
- A Canva shortcut to fantastic magic features. Quick access saves time.
- I’m looking around at the latest Zoom update. Let me know if you want me to add deep-dive video tutorials on specific aspects.
- Plus, a tutorial from the vault about printing your notes pages from PowerPoint has resurfaced.
Topics coming up
- A few tips are coming up for those of you creating or updating your asynchronous or self-directed courses and training materials.
- Other topics will include how to balance self-directed and group training and when to select each.
- AI: How I have been using ChatGPT as a partner, and some ways to use this tool that you likely have never thought of.
- Facilitator, in-person tips to keep things engaging.
- Hybrid, blended audiences, common mistakes, and how to support a diversity of learning needs.
- My favourite blogs and videos to create are about topics you request; let me know by sending me an email! patricia@regiereducation.com
- Would you like me to share about Affiliate Link revenue and how I am finally getting paid something from YouTube? This can apply to you, even if you don’t run a business. Let me know if this peeks your curiousity.
- I will also answer the most asked questions from my YouTube videos.
Stay Tuned!
Full reading blogs will be coming up in the months ahead, including a special one about an epic experience. But first, I thought I would ease us into this season with the videos.
BONUS: Since I am celebrating my birthday this month, I have a special offer for you: 50% off my online facilitator course.

Hot Bonus Tip
Each season may not be as packed with high results; sometimes, things need to brew and go slow. Creating engaging facilitated or self-directed learning takes time to create! Sometimes you need a season to learn and grow, and then you are ready to share!
