Zoom Pronouns
It’s important that we set up inclusive learning and meeting spaces. A recent Zoom update supported our ability to make this space even more inclusive. In the past, if you wanted to add Pronouns to your name, you would just type them in the name field. Recently, I found that Zoom has added a new option within your profile account, where you can specifically add your pronounces and decide their visibility. You can share this blog or video tutorial with your team, organization or participants ahead of time to demonstrate the inclusive nature of your leadership or facilitation.
Steps
- Log into your Zoom profile through your favourite browser
- Edit your pronouns options in Zoom, or this is the place you initially type in your pronouns
- Decide how or when your pronouns will be shared or visible
